What matters to me seminar – new ways of working in cancer care

One in two people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer. There are currently 2.5 million people living with a cancer diagnosis in the UK.   To find out how a holistic assessment can support real patient-centred care, join us for talks from two RD&E Staff passionate about their work in Cancer Services.

Key Note Speakers

Dr Niranjali Vijeratnam – Consultant in Palliative Medicine at the RD&E
Niranjali trained in a wide range of Palliative Care Teams across London/Hertfordshire before working in innovative Palliative Consultant posts in Somerset for 3 years and the Enhanced Supportive Care Team at the Trust for the last 2 years.

Maria Bracey –  Clinical Lead for ‘Living with and beyond Cancer‘ at the RD&E
